Each provider has its own key, stored on the server and never sent back to the browser. Google Cloud and Gemini are separate keys. How to get a key ↗

Word-sync accuracy

Providers without native word timings (Gemini, xAI, local) use a fast estimate for read-along highlighting. Turn on neural CTC alignment for acoustically word-exact timing — it is more accurate but noticeably slower and runs on the server's CPU.

Playback

Type an exact value, use −/+, or choose a common preset.

Import cleanup

Each phrase works on its own: any imported paragraph containing one of them is flagged for removal in the import preview.

Keyboard shortcuts

Play/pause, skip, seek and change speed without leaving the reader. Press ? anywhere, or open the list here.

Space, K, J, L, H, +, − and ? control the player. Turn this off if you use speech input or another tool that types single letters; the arrow keys keep working. Keys pressed in a text field, on a button or in a list always go there.

There is no list of your other devices, and that is deliberate: sessions are self-contained signed tokens, so the server keeps no record of where you are signed in — no device names, no IP addresses, no last-seen times. "Sign out everywhere" works without such a record, by invalidating every token issued so far.
